Day 1: Depart Europe/USA/China on Ethiopian Airlines

Day 2: Arrive Addis Ababa about 0700 and transfer to hotel of your choice. After lunch, city tour.

Day 3: Fly to Bahir Dar on Lake Tana. Visit medieval churches, the blue Nile Falls and the city.

Day 4: Drive to Simien Mountains National Park. o/n in the park.

Day 5: Set off back to Gondar. Tour the castles and churches.

Day 6: Fly to Lalibela, tour the churches in town.

Day 7: Excursions to outlying churches in the countryside>

Day 8: Fly to Axum, tour the sites in town.

Day 9: Excursion to 800 BC temple at Yeha.

Day 10: Fly back to Addis Ababa, day room, shopping, city visits, farewell dinner. Transfer to the airport for departure after midnight on Day 11.
